Oktoberfest at Happy Valley Racecourse

It was so much more fun this time around!!!! Last time I was there by myself, but this time I was with around 20 friends! It took us longer to get there than I had thought, I met up with 2 of my friends and we walked over from Times Square, the trip took about 20 minutes.
What was funny is that along the way I found out they both worked near me, so now I've got new lunch buddies. =)

A night of german sausages, chicken kebabs, and multiple pitchers of beer was just the kind of fun I had expected at the racecourse! Since we had so much fun, we've decided that we're going to go there every Wednesday night before swing dancing starts! =) woohoo, well we'll see if we actually end up doing that every week. haahaa

I bid on 3 different races, and ended up with an extra $15 in my pocket.
